2004 senesinde Tennessee'de kurulan Amerikalı power pop grubu Paramore, kadrosunda Zach (davul) ve Josh Farro (gitar) kardeşler ile Hayley Williams (vokal) ve Jeremy Davis (bas gitar) 'i bulunduruyor. 2005 senesine kadar çevredeki çeşitli mekanlarda sahne alarak ismini genişleten grup, aynı sene Fueled By Ramen adlı plak şirketiyle anlaşma sağladı.

2005 senesinde "All We Know Is Falling" adlı ilk albümünü Roger Alan Nicholas ve Nick Trevisck prodüktörlüğünde piyasaya süren Paramore, albümde pop punk ve alternatif rock müzik türlerinden örnekler sergiledi. Albümle İngiltere Rock listelerinde 8 numaraya yerleşen grup, albümden "All We Know", "Pressure" ve "Emegency" parçalarını single olarak yayımladı.

2006 Ağustos ayında Amerika'da turneye çıkan Paramore, turnede This Providence, Cute Is What We Aim For ve Hit The Lights gruplarıyla birlikte aynı sahneyi paylaştı. Haziran ayında "The Summer Tic" adlı EP'yi katıldıkları Warped Turnesi sırasında hayranlarına ulaştıran grup, EP içerisinde Failure gurubunun "Stuck On You" parçasını baştan yorumladı. Aynı sene "Superman Returns" filmi için hazırlanan "Sound Of Superman" soundtrack'ine Foo Fighters'ın "My Hero" parçasını baştan yorumlayarak katılan dörtlü, 2007 senesinin başında 2. stüdyo albümünün kayıtlarına başladı.

12 Haziran 2007 tarihinde "RIOT!" adlı 2. albümünü David Bendeth ve John Janick prodüktörlüğünde piyasaya süren Paramore, albümüyle Amerika listelerinde 20 numaraya yerleşti. İngiltere listelerinde ise 24 numara olan albümden şu ana kadar "Misery Business" ve "Hallelujah".
